Community Partners is excited to welcome Eileen Dakan, planning director of Community Action Partnership of Mid-Nebraska, to the board of directors. “I love the Kearney area. It is a wonderful place to raise our children,” Eileen said. “I am excited about the work Community Partners does to help improve the community, and I’m looking forward to collaborating with others on our common goals.”
We also want to wish Julie Weir the best as she steps down from the Community Partners board of directors to become president of the HelpCare Clinic board of directors.
“Our passion at Community Action Partnership of Mid-Nebraska is ‘helping people, help themselves,’” said Julie. “It is also my passion and career choice as a nurse to serve, and I have chosen to serve the underinsured and uninsured in our area. It is an honor to serve with the HelpCare board, and I am excited and challenged to work with the other board members to build this clinic and provide care for those in need.”
