‘Calling’ is defined as a strong inner impulse toward a particular course of action especially when accompanied by conviction of divine influence. This defines our board member, Elnida Chandler, and gifts she shared with our community. Elnida chose ‘calling’ as her ONE WORD to describe her leadership in 2015. In 2012, Elnida Chandler joined the Buffalo County Community Partners to represent Crossroad Center in Kearney on our board of directors. Elnida served as a liaison to our board and those in need in our community. She lived her calling by serving others, it was her gift she gave freely. We recognize her amazing accomplishments in her calling to support the HelpCare Clinic, which was grown through her efforts and those of other volunteers. May the life you lived inspire others to give back and support those in need. Thank you Elnida.
